Sailing under the "Big Mac"

On Wednesday, August 4 we left Petoskey.  The water looked good in the bay but it was a bit wavy out in the lake.  It was a "when will we get there or the waves even subside a little "day! When we got to the Straits of Mackinac it got better for sailing.  We were able to wing on wing sail under the bridge!  It was fun!

We arrived in Straits State Harbor and were welcomed by friends on Still Busy Living.  We had a couple drinks and dinner at a brewery with interesting beer names.  The guys had to drink #14, Boats and Hoes.  LOL.  A good time.  Forgot to even get photos.

Calm day on Thursday for our trip to Cheboygan.  We were here early in the day and went for a dinghy ride to Duncan Bay Boat Club and to town to the local brewery.  Staying here to welcome guests on board later today.  Happy Friday everyone!

Getting closer

Jeff was just praying for Diana to keep it between the piers!
